A young German officer stopped at
a wayside inn in France. He was
tired. Upon asking for food the man
in charge offered him some nice tur
key. The officer pitched into it and
after some moments of steady eating
he asked:
"Are you certain this is turkey?"
"Yes, absolutely sure," replied the
landlord.
"There's no doubt about it, eh?" f
persisted the officer.
"None whatever," came the an
swer. A moment later the officer re- j
turned to his orderly.
"Fntz," he directed, "saddle our
turkeys now." Everybody's. -j
