830 BODIES FOUND '
One lone corpse brought up by a
diver this morning' raised the list of
recovered bodies to 830. The remains
were taken to Sheldon's morgue, 912
W. Madison st, and placed with oth
ers as yet unidentified.
INDICTMENTS TODAY?. ARREST
' W. K. GREENBAUM
With W. K. Greenbaum under ar
rest, another arerst of a higher-up
was today promised by State's Att'y
Hoyne. Indictments may be returned
by the grand jury by 6 o'clock tonight
Greenbaum is general manager of
the Indiana Transportation Co.,
which leased the Eastland from the
St Joseph-Chicago line. He was ar
rested as he finishel telling the cor
oner's jury how for 17 minutes he
watched the Eastland with her load
of precious freight tip and then
plunge into the water.
The arrest of Greenbaum came al-
most simultaneously with the taking
into custody of Geo. W. Munger, pur
ser of the Eastland, and Martin Fla
tow, general agent of the St Joe
line. Munger disappeared after the
accident He knows exactly how
many were on board the Eastland.
