Industrial Relations Report With "Teeth" Will Tell
Congress of Conditions in Labor and
Industry in America.

Congress is going, to know the truth about labor conditions in this
After days of strenuous fighting in "secret" the progressive faction of
the industrial relations commission has whipped the capitalists and "neu
trals" into line and the redhot Manley report has been ordered printed and
it will be forwarded to congress with all its terrible truth and drastic recom
mendations. This finally was agreed to by unanimous vote of commission.
The progressives, Chairman Frank P. Walsh, J. B. Lennon, James
O'Connell and A. B. Garretson, won the victory only after days of fighting'
in "secret" sessions. ?
The capitalistic and "neutral" factions of the commission were vio
lently opposed to the report because it had "teeth."
