Personally, I think a woman's
throat begins to show age much
quicker than her hands.
Even when she is plump there are
tell-tale marks under the chin and
behind the ears that, like the drop-.
ping of the "first petals fromthe-rpse
show that summer is ending. .
I do not believe in rigorous throat
exercises, or heavy massage. They
are very apt to enlarge therglands or
even induce goiter.
"But," asks the thin woman of
forty, "what shall I do for that
scrawny look in the 'front, "of my
throat just "under my chin?"
Wear a cold water compress about
it at night 'three times a week and
rub cold" cream into it' every day.
Don't wear the high collars that
are coming into fashion. If you must
have something about your neck to
cover up' the wrinkles just at its base
wear a'b'and-of maline or velvet
