WHEN HIGH SCHOOL
Akron, O., Oct 28. Akron high
school girls are giving "the other
girl" a chance.
Four hundred of them all of them
are waging a war against snobbery.
They have adopted a school uni
form, and, incidentally, tabooed the
smart designs of fashion which a cer
tain few had exhibited at the expense
of the pride of that "other girl"

girls had such finer, more comfort
And the classmate who found her
there didn't listen in Tjain to the
"dther .ghTs" sobbing story.
The teachers were told, the hun
dreds of other girl students were, too,
and all together they decided upon
making the uniform dress idea a real
Now "the other girl" casts no
glances of envy at her follow stu
dents' finery; now the girls who for
merly wore the chic, pretty costumes
