ENDS ILLICIT ROMANCE WITH
REVOLVER BULLETS
New York, Jan. 5. Mrs. Catherine
Walsh, 27, the wife of James Walsh,
wealthy resident of Atlantic City,
N. J., closed her romance with Wil
liam A. Beggs, a chauffeur, when she
shot and killed him in their quarters
in a dingy New York rooming house
and ended her own life with a bullet
The bodies were fourid today, twenty
four hours after the dreary tragedy
that was Mrs. Walsh's life had ended.
It took Beggs only a few months to
tire of her, Mrs. Walsh told her only
confidant, after she deserted her hus
band. Mrs. Walsh left a number of
letters telling of her intentions, one
of them to her husband, but there
was no word for her two children
who passed out of her life when.
