Meyer Fisch. o o FOUR BIG HOTELS ARE WARNED BY CHIEF HEALEY 'Twas a triumph for Chief Healey when he showed the loop hotel keep ers the reports of Morals Inspector Francis Hanna and ordered them to hereafter obey the law. The hotels warned by the chief are the Morrison, the Stratford, the Bis marck and the Sherman. The reports Chief Healey had were handed him months ago. He failed to take action. He told a Day Book reporter that all such reports are turned over to his captains. Wheth er or not they take action on them he didn't know. In the morals court yesterday In spector Hanna said he preferred an investigation in "vice in the loop" by tlie court itself. He said he had not much faith in a police investigation of the police department. He said his reason for this attitude was that the chief had once tried to remove him from office and that he had to go to .the courts to protect himself. Now comes the rumor that charges are to be preferred against Hanna because he brought records from his office into court without permission from his superior officers."
