In the assembling room I meet all
the other segments of myself. Sev
eral girls get us together and match
us up and decorate us with titles and
subtitles, allowing a foot of film to
each wordthat is to appear on the
screen. My segments are all cement- '
ed together and I appear in my orig- '
inal length again of 1,000 feet I am
now wound on a metal spool and
called a reeL
I next go to the projecting room.
A projecting room ' is a long, dark '
place with a white screen in one end ,
and at the other end a machine with '
a lot of thingamagigs on it and a lit
tle glass to look through like the one "
