State's Att'y Hoyne today sent
word to Mayor Thompson, asking for
a meeting of the street car strike ar
bitration board to settle disputes
which have arisen between the car
men and the companies. Hoyne got
busy as soon as Wm. Quinlan, presi
dent of the car men's union, made
the request for the meeting.
