JUNE LONG WAY OFF BUT HERE
IS JUNE GOWN
By Betty Brown
W It may be February according to
your calendar, but in the Calendar of
Fashion it is June and high time to
be planning the gowns that will be
worn in the first warm days of sum
mer. A gown that's quite elegant even
if it is intended for tubbing is a voile
and linen combination made on tail
ored lines. Mine. Heichert is the de
signer and the Fashion Art League of
America is to send forth this model
as one of its authentic spring styles.
The Reichert model is in old blue
and white, the dark-colored voile
forms a coat-like waist with smart
linen shoulder straps and button
trimmed tabs to emphasize its re
semblance to a coat The same com
bination could be worked out effec
tively in different shades of summer
silk or in voile and silk.
