PARK EMPLOYES APPEAL TO
GOVERNOR FOR HELP
Gov. Dunne and the judge of the
circuit court have been appealed to
by the Building Trades in an effort to
obtain justice from the South Park
Board. The low wage scales are the
subject of the complaint It also
leaked out yesterday that many of
the park employes had secretly or
ganized and would go on strike if
their demands were not acceded to.

av. and Adams St. His left foot was
run over and crushed.
According to police records, the car
was owned by the Fred Clark Team

PACKING HOUSE STRIKERS HOLD
UP STOCK TRAIN
Sioux City, la., Feb. 26. During
the night strikers at Cudahy and Ar
mour plants seized train of live stock,
made up for shipment to Omaha
plant and it Is still in the yards here,
unable to proceed. Packers wanted
to take the animals to Omaha for
slaughter, local plants being unable
to run because 2,000 men are on
strike.
