Camphor balls bloom in the spring

Nobody knows why camphor balls
are made round instead of square ex
cept, perhaps, 'that if they were
square they wouldn't be camphor
balls at all and couldn't roll all over
the floor and get crushed in the car
pet. For fragrance camphor balls are
louder than anything we know, not
excepting American beauties, boiled
cabbage, a certain well-known but
unpopular animal and barber's cologne.
