BY ANNA PAVLOWA
Famous Russian Premiere Danseuse
Here are some of the things I find
it necessary to do to keep my feet in
good condition and I suggest them
for those who would have healthy
and beautiful feet
Rub vaseline well into the feet be
fore going on a long walk. It will
help prevent soreness and chafing.
Feet may be hardened by bathing
in cold water with plenty of soap suds
in it.
.Toe nails-always should be. rimmed
straight across. This prevents in
growing nans.
Keep hose fresh and. dry. Cotton
feet in silk hose are best They ab
sorb moisture more readily than silk
or lisle.
See that shoes and stockings fit

' will cause corns and sore feet.
It is well quite often to rub vase
line or cold cream between the toes,
for there most of the sensitive nerves
are situated.
CAN YOU BEAT IT?
A young doctor friend had his first
patient the other day, but the diag
nosis was not a success. He couldn't
feel her pulse because she had a wrist
over it, and he couldn't look at her
tongue because she was using it at
the time. He told her he didn't think
she was very ill and she got mad and
went to another physician.
