PLANS MUNICIPAL LODGING
HOUSE FOR BOYS
Mrs. Louise Osborne Rowe, dep't
of public welfare, says she is going
to ask the city council to appropriate
money for a municipal lodging house
for boys between ages of 15 and 18.
If it goes through she will suggest
that boy prisoners be held at the
lodging house pending trial.
Mrs. Rowe also announced that
she has secured 150 acres of garden
land throughout the city which will
be cut up into eight-acre lots, one
acre going to each family in need.
