. THe athlete pictured is Creighi
ton, broad jumper and contestant in
the pentathlon recently held at Phil
adelphia in conjunction with the an
nual relay games of the U. of Pa. The
faithful photog was on the job for
action pictures and "how well his
camera worked is shown herewith.
Creighton's feet and legs are bur
ied in the soft dirt where he landed
after completing a tremendous leap.
It is considered one of the greatest
"freak" pictures ever taken at a
track and field meet
