She is going to stay in Venice dur
ing the summer with the children,
while Freddie goes to Buenos Aires
on a fighting tour if he really does
it Her time will be occupied by
Freddie Welsh, Jr., one year old, anjl
Betty Welsh, three years old.
"I don't think Freddie takes all his
fights seriously,'' said Mrs. Welsh,
"and that sometimes he lets his op
ponents make a good showing. It
helps the game and the fans in the
home town all get excited. Freddie
tells them all that they have the fu
ture champion in their midst
"Freddie has no fear of being de
feated. He has the utmost confi
dence in himself."
