Mrs. Kate Walker on the Job as Lighthouse Keeper.
Mrs. Kate Walker holds a unique
position for a woman. She is keeper
of the Robbins' reef lighthouse in
New York harbor.
All year round she lives in her tiny
home, the walls of which rise sheer
out of the water. There she cares'
for the big light which guides ferry
boats, excursion. steamers and the
great liners as they feel thefo way

takes a trip to New York and does a
little shopping but she doesn't have
to buy much because she has no
neighbors to talk about her if she
