"OSTRICH DANCE" LATEST STAGE NOVELTY
Bessie Morrin, "the girl with a
wobble in every joint," who does an
"ostrich dance" in Oliver Morosco's
new light opera, "Canary Cottage."
Miss Morrin presents one of the most
remarkable dances ever shown on
the stage. It is ludicrous, awkward,
mechanical, automatic. And all of it
is dominated by Miss Morrin's per
sonality and ability. She wobbles
about in loose-jointed fashion, pre
tending she is an ostrich haunting
the dream of the leading man, who
has imbibed too freely. "Canary
Cottage" was launched in Los An
geles, will be taken to San Fran
cisco and then to New York.
