Fifteen hundred Sing Sing convicts staged a pageant to honor the re
turned warden, Thos. Mott Osborne, vindicated of the charges under which
he resigned. This section of the parade -shows the old striped dress and
lock-step in vogue before Osborne started his reforms.
TROLLEY CAR BLOWN UP IN
WILKESBARRE STRIKE
Wilkesbarre.J'a., July 20. Anoth
er trolley car of the local traction
company was blown up by dynamite
today, making second attempt in ten
days to kill strikebreaking crews.
Conductor was uninjured, but motor
man sustained lacerations of the
body and will probably lose the sight
of one eye. Because of the boycott
there were no passengers aboard at
the time.

nicipal pier last night came nearly
witnessing a serious accident when

velt narrowly missed running down
the little passenger launch Columbia
The captain of the Roosevelt is ac
cused by Harbormaster Adam Weck

time to stop the boat by reversing
the engine.

VILLA AGAIN LOCATED
Mexico City, July 20. Reports to
day from Chihuahua state say Villa
has once again been definitely locat
ed and that Constitutionalist forces
have every expectation of capturing
him.
A messenger sent by the bandit
leader to seek medical aid was cap
tured by Constitutionalist cavalry
and killed. Carranzista commander
reported today he expected to engage
main body of Villistas at an early
date,
