The boy who, at 13, is charged
with murder, and sister who, juvenile
court and police officials say, he tried
several times to put in a stove.
New Orleans, La., July 22. "The
worst boy in America!" is what the
police call Willie Zimmer, 13, who
they charge lias crowned a record of
thefts and cruelties with the murder
of his mother, Mrs. Mary Zimmer.
Science is trying to decide -whether
Willie is sane or if his criminal ten
dencies are caused by blood clots on
his brain. If alienists and surgeons
who have the boy under observation
decide his brain is abnormal they will
operate to change his nature.
Personally, the boy called "the
worst in America," is displaying little
interest in what the authorities are
doing about his case. He maintains
