Fresno"Cal., Sept 28. Sold by
their father, Gus Youell, for $400, is
the fate of Anita, eight years old,
and Graqe, six years old.
That is a crude way of putting it,
of course, but that is practically
what the transfer amounted to. The
children are now legal "property" of
Mr. and Mrs. R. J, Christie, 376 West
avenue, while the father is $400 "to
the good." What is more, the father
has his liberty, and everybody is
happy.
The two pretty blonde haired chil
dren have been in the care of Mrs.
Christie for two years, since the
death of the mother, The father
owed the Christies $400 for care of
the little girls.
