have aroused a difference of opinion
among school authorities.' Principal
Hiram Loomis of the school thinks
they are a good thing for the boys.
Sup't John D. Shoop expressed "his
hopes" last night that Loomis did not
allow the boys tp start ring battles
without consulting a higher author
ity. And he asked for "a report from
Loomis on the matches.
