CAUSE, SAYS WIFE
Kansas City, Mo.f Jan. 19, Short
skirts or short kindness which is
the better reason for divorce?
The circuit court here has decid
ed a skirt two inches above the boot
tops is cause for divorce and on this
basis has freed Wm. P. Cuff froni his
petty, blithesome, 20-year-old. wife.
But Mrs. Cuff protests the divorce
should have been granted to hr on.

"If my skirts were as short as my
husband's kindness h& might have
some cause for complaint," she4 says.
Cuff is 46- and martied-lQuryears
ago, fvben Mrs Cuff -was 16. The
couple has two children, William, 3,
and Marion, 2.
