THE GIRL YOU MARRY
You always like to see her looking
starchy. In fact, you wouldn't go to
see her at all unless she did.
A But probably you've never noticed
"that besides herself it must take
mother and a dressmaker and a mil
liner and a laundress and a few doz
en stores downtown to supply the
sports clothes with that sporty look
that gets you.
And by and by, after you're mar
ried, after you have encouraged her
jto make her own dresses and trim,,
her own hats for a few years, don't
ever get careless and hand out a par
cel of airy remarks about how nifty
Miss B looks in the new big
new stripes. Comparisons are dan
gerous. Better put in. a new needle and
grind up. Maybe you're run down,
too.
I recommend you to take care of
the minutes, for the hours will take
care of .themselves. j phestierfiejd,
