Know," Orchestra hall, 3 p. m., au spices Chicago Woman's club. o o "ALL CHICAGO GARDEN PLAN" GETS A GOOD START JOIN IN Everybody in Chicago who eats is invited to join in on the "A1J Chicago Garden Plan" mapped out at a mass meeting in the city council chamber Friday afternoon. Mayor Thompson, Health Commissioner Robertson, other city officials, ministers, associ ation officers and women's club del egates talked gardening over from top to bottom and from one side to the other at this meet. A city-wide garden committee was empowered to institute a garden bu reau in the City Hall, through which requests for lands, seeds, plowing or for speakers at garden meets will be handled. Offe rany vacant lots you have through this bureau. Mayor Thompson said he had ob tained promises from senators and representatives to supply seeds to all who want them.
