DESIGN A BATHING SUIT FOR ME

Here is another chance to design
a bathing suit for me, and at the
same time get one for yourself if
your idea is one of the two best This
outline has been printed once before,
so if you didn't like your first effort
you can try again.
All manner of suits have been en
tered for consideration so far, but
the competition is yet young. It has
just reached the halfway mark. One
piece suits for girls who fairly live
in the water have been plentiful. On
HER HAT PROVES PATRIOTISM
Here's the way women can show
patriotism. The hat was designed
by Miss Anna Bahrs, Newark, N. J.,
milliner, shown wearing it It is of
mushroom shaped straw wth crown
of blue satin, garnished with white
satin stars and stripes of red satin
across the white field of the brim.

Some contestants have already sent
in three or four drawings. They are
using the different outlines at least
once. You can use all 12 pictures, or
twice 12, or a hundred. Pencil, pen
and ink or. colors, it makes no differ
ence what you outline'your drawing
Use your own judgment, but get
busy and outline your ideas. This
design, like the one yesterday will
be printed twice more. All together,
there are four different diagrams,
each of which will be printed three
That means you will have plenty of
different diagrams on which to indi
cate various ideas. There are no re
strictions of any kind. Draw as
many as you wish and send them
Remember that the two girls who
givene the best ideas for my own
1917 bathing suit will be rewarded
by beach togs of their own design,
each suit to cost a maximum of $10.
