El Paso, Tex., April 18. Carran
za's mobilization of troops along the
border continues today. Gen. Mur-
guia has given up Villa chase, re
turning to Juarez with his 5,000 men.
(& Withdrawal of all Carranzista
forces from Central Mexico has been
virtually complete.
Gen. Murguia's return will place
approximately 30,000 Caranzista
troops within striking distance of M
Paso and other border points. Sit
uation causing uneasiness here.

Boston, April 18. Rrst report of;
heavy firing off Massachusetts' coast
was received at 9:15 this morning
from coast guard patrol station 32
at Previncetown Bay. This station
reported that they first heard 15
shots from heavy guns and, after an
interval of 15 minutes, continuous
heavy firing was heard. They re
ported the firing as due north.
Second report arrived at 9:30 from
coast guard station 33 at Race Point
and told of hearing shots from five
or six guns and continuous firing
