WOULD REOPEN BEAUX ARTS
A new attempt to reopen the fa
mous Beaux Arts club, formerly at
2700 S. State, was made today when
David M. Jackson, proprietor, filed
suit in superior court for mandamus
proceedings. He asked that Mayor
Thompson be compelled to issue a
license to him.
Jackson's place has recently been
occupied by the Cascade club. The
same place was robbed of its license,
on account of touch dancing, etc.,
when it was the Beaux Arts club.

It is not krown whether Jack-,
son wants to reopen as the Cascade
club or the Beaux Arts club, but he
wants to open.
