very much worse and medical aid was

labored for two hours with Mr. Kennedy
In hope of raving his life. Shortly before
i: o'clock the patle-st's condition took a
turn for the worse and all hopo was aban
doned. At a few minutes past 8 o'clock he
expired, surrounded by his immediate
family.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Ireland fifty
four years ajto. lie camo to till country
us a mer boy and moved to Bt. Ixiuls
Fhcrtly after the Civil War. After his mar

manager of the Grand Leader, and was
