market rallied a little late, and at close
Xov. was quoted nominally ic higher, at
Tie. Dec. kc down, at Tlcy'lc, and May
3c lower, at 7GHc buyers.
As far as corn was conctrned speculative
ly, anil as regards price changes. It was
in no better condition than on yesterday
and in fact was neither better nor worse,
being in a dull and nominal condition the
greater part of the time. Jlore settled
weather conditions were said to exist In the
corn belt, lrut there was no increased
movement from farmers' har.dt. In fact
the primary receipts were the smallest for
some considerable time, the postings show
ing arrivals of but sa,'X bu., being IW.WiO
bit. less than those of a vear agg. Loealiv

463,000 bu. The monthly Government repot t
