up from Socorro and the latter being a
passenger from Las Vegas. Mr. Martin
stated that he sent In his resignation to
the governor several weeks ago, and that
the governor notified him a few days ago
that his reslgnaltou had been accepted,
which was followed immediately by the
appointment of Mr. Clatk. Mr. Martin
returned to Socorro this morning, while
the new Inspector remalus In the city to
get acquainted with those who bandl
