cial District ot the Territory of Ari-
zona, in and for the County of Ynma :

ritory of Arizona, in and for Yuma
County, and the complaint men in said
Yuma Connty, in the office of the Clerk
of said District Court.
In the name of the Territory of Arizona
to Mary Ryan, Defendant, greeting:
You are hereby summoned and re
quired to appear in an action brought
against you by the above named plain
tiff, in the District Court of the Third
Judicial District of the Territory of Ari
zona, in and for Yuma County, and an
swer the complaint therein filed with
the Clerk of this said Court, at Yuma,
in said county, within ten days after
the service upon you of this Summons,
if served in this said County, or if
served out of this said County and
within this said Judicial District, then
within twenty days thereafter, or in all
other cases within thirty days thereaf
ter, the times above mentioned being
exclusive of the day of service,
(the said action is brought to obtain
a decree, quieting the Plaintiff in his
title and possession of that certain lot
and piece of land described in the com
plaint on file herein to which reference
is made, against all claims thereto by
the Defendant, Mary Ryan, or anyone
claiming through or under her, after the
commencement of this action,) or judg
ment by default will be taken against
you as prayed for in Plaintiff's com
plaint. Given under my hand and seal of the
District Court of the Third Judicial
District of the Territory of Arizona, in
and for Yuma County, this 31st day of
August, A. D. 1900.

ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION.
of the
THE BONAIR OIL COMPANY.
The undersigned, STEPHEN W. DORSEY
and JAMES M. PEARSON, citizens of the
United States, have this day associated them
selves together for the purpose of forming a
Corporation under andby virtue of thelawsofthe
Territory of Arizona, and hereby adopt the f ol
lowing Articles of Incorporation, namely:
ARTICLE FIRST.
That the names of the corporators are Stephen
VV. Dorsey and James M. Pearson:
That the name of the corporation shall be
THE BONAIR OIL COMPANY.
That the principal place for the transaction of
the business of the said corporation is and shall
be the TOWN OP YUMA, in YUMA COUNTY,
TERRITORY OP ARIZONA, with branch of
fices at such other places as the Board of Direc
tors may from time to time designate.
ARTICLE SECOND.
That the general nature of the business pro
posed to be transacted by the said corporation
shall be: mining, drilling and boring for crude
and other oil, petroleum, gas asphaltum or other
volatile hydro carbon substances ;buying,selling,
leasing, mortgaging, owing or holding mineral or
or other lands and personal property; and laying
pipes and pipes lines for conducting oil or other
substances, erecting tanks, refineries, derricks,,
machinery or other works for boring, drilling,
producing, handling, treating or dealing in said
products or substances; building roads, tram
ways, railroads or canals from the Company's
property to any river, railroad or highway; to
build, operate, maintain, own or conduct a gen
eral mercantile business, or to deal in any kind
of merchandise or personal property; and to do
any and all other acts or things necessary or
needful to conduct a general oil, mining or other
business, either In Arizona or any other State
or Territory of the United States.
ARTICLE THIRD.
That the amount of the Capital Stock of the
.said Corporation shall consist of One Million
Shares of the par value of One Dollar each; and
that the said stock shall not be issued by 'the
Board of Directors except the same shall be
fully paid up; and when so issued by said board
of directors said stock shall be forever non as
sessable and no personal liability shall attach
to the holders thereof.
ARTICLE FOURTH.
This Corporation shall commence business
when its Articles of Incorporation are filled
with the County Recorder of Yuma County,
Territory of 'Arizona and shall continue for
twenty-five years thereafter.
ARTICLE FIFTH.
The affairs of the said Corporation shall be
managed by a Board of seven Directors. The
first Board of Directors shall be:
Stephen W. Dorsey,
James M. Pearson,
John P. Jones,
William S. Allen,
G. S. De Garmo,
E. E. Powers and
George Quigley,
who shall hold their offices for a period of one
year from 'the date these Articles are recorded
or until their successors are duly elected and
qualified.
At the expiration of the year above stated, or
sooner if the stockholders elect, a new Board of
Directors shall be elected by the stockholders
of the said corporation, at a regular meeting
thereof.
ARTICLE SIXTH.
The officers of the said Corporation shall con
sist of a President, Vice President, Secretary,
Assistant Secretary and Treasurer, and such
other officers as the Board of Directors may
from time to time determine.
The President and Vice President shall be
members of the Board of Directors; and no
Director shall hold office who Is not a bone fide
stockholder of record in said Corporation, and
a failure to own or hold stock in said Corpora
tion shall work a forfeiture of the office of Di
rectors. In the event of the daath, resignation, dis
ability or disqualification of any director, the
remaining members of the Board of Directors
may fill the vacancy by the election of some
bona fide stockholder.
ARTICLE SEVENTH.
The highest amount of indebtedness said Cor
poration shall at any'time create shall not ex
ceed the sum of three hundred and thirty thou
sands dollars.
ARTICLE EIGHTH.
That ali private property of the stockholders
of said Corporation shall be exempt from all
debts of this Corporation.

Angeles County, residing therein, duly commis
sioned and sworn, personally appeared Stephen
W. Dorsey and James M. Pearson, known to me
to be the persons described in and whose names
are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and
they acknowledge to me that they executed the
same for the purposes and considerations there
in expressed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto
set my band and affixed my official seal, at my
office in the County, of Los Angeles, the day and
year in this certificate first above written.

said county, do hereby certify that I have com
pared the within and foregoing instrument, and
the same is a full, true and correct copy of Arti
cles of Incorporation of "The Bonair Oil Com
pany" as the same appears of record of Book 2
of Bonds and Agreements, page 620 et seq., in
records of Yuma County, Arizona.

NOTICE OP FORFEITURE.
To C. W. Culver, his assigns and legal repres
entatives; you are hereby notified that the un
dersigned, who is co-owners with you in the
Placier claim, known as the Klondike mining
claim, have expended the sum of Two Hundred
dollars, in labor and improvements made for
the years 1898 and 1899, in compliance with the
United States mining laws requiring annual ex
penditures to be made on mining claims. The
said mining claim is situated in the King of
Arizona mining district. Yuma County, A. T.
and is duly recorded in Book H of Mines in the
the recorder's office of Yuma County, A. T. and
you are further notified that if, at the expiration
of ninety days from the last publication of this
notice, you fail or refuse to pay your proportion
of said expenditure, together with the costs of
publication of this notice your interest in said
mining claim will be forfeitured and become the
property of the undersigned in accordance with
law.
