They will be token to Washington as soon as proper chiefs can be got together. He thinks it will be six weeks before the treaty can be concluded. He reports about five hundred Indians on the war path for miners. The military sent af ter Black Hillers were driven back by a storm of snow and wind. Goldfish no?r abound thickly in the water about Alexandria, va., and are caugfii in all the seines that are hanleo. It proved to be a ball of fire, nhich rapidly passed back and forth and up over the stove, bussing like a, small galyank battery.- The pots and kettles on tbe stove were so heavily charged that in taking hold or touching any part a stufining shock *as experienced.
