The subjoined notice of the life and
character of this interesting woman, is
.lightly abridged from the New York
Observer; oflnst week. It will be read
with interest as coming from a reliable
source. It will be seen that it seat tors

the newspapers have given, respecting
her pfirentag, a sailor brother, etc.
The subject of this brief sketch was
born in the cily of .Stockholm, in the
parish of St. Clara, in which Church
