and such other appurtenances as may

of said railioad, are hereby granted

to the eight roils iu width for the road

serve the purposes for which this grant
is made; and the said company, nnd
nny persons in their employment, shall

public lands within n reasonable dis
tance of snid road and take therefrom
any limber, earth, stone, sand, gravel.
