Attorney General Harmon yesterday af
ternoon telegraphed Ilcwson E. Lannan,
United States marshal for Delaware, to
return to the owners the arms and am
munition found upon the tug Taurus, which
was seized about September 1 near Wil
mington, Del., ror iutended violation of
the neutrality laws of the United States.
Some thirty men were found on board
and the men and the tug were the subject
of a trial at Wilmington. Del., and the
men were acquitted and the tug released
from libel. The arms and ammunition
aboard have since been In the custody of
the United States marshal. This action of
the Attorney General closes the Incident.
Died Without a Physician.
.Edward Stone, fifteen years old, died
suddenly yesterday at the home of his
parents. No. 1324 Eleventh street louth
east, -without medical attendance. Coroner
Hamrnctl was notified, but an Investigation
showed that death resulted from natural
causes, and a certificate to that effect was

Ten-mile rurade in Honor ot tlie Clty'
Fort Wayne, Ind., Oct. 17. This Is the
big day of Fort Wayne's centennial cele
bration. Incoming tralnshavebrought over
20,000 excursionists. The morning was oc
cupied by band and military contests and
the game of baseball between Chicago and
Cincinnati, which resulted In a victory for
the former by a score.of 11 to 4.
This afternoon the civic, military and
Industrial parade, over ten miles long,
furnished the grandest street pageant ever
presented to pur people.

president, and K. J. Lowry, of Atlanta, was
made vice president.

made by W. P. St. John, of New York, and
Edward Atkinson, of New York.
Mr. St. John made a strong argument for
a double standard, and the opening of the
mints again to silver. He is one ot the
few silver men of the association.
