Chesterfield Accident.— W* uoticod yesterday
morning, the fact thai, on the day before, a
frightful accident had occurred at tbe Poor
rate Quarry, on the Richmond and Danville
Kail road, by which Aye men one white and
four blacks—were blowu up by a premature
explosion of powder, and badly injured Mr.
Harrison Fbi.lowh, as we learn from ore of
tbe attending physicians, received the severest
injuries. Besides beiagshockingly burned by
the powder, small fragments of stone were
driven info his face, breast and arms, aud a
piece two inches tn length and half an inch
