Mining Man Here A. F. Judd of
Cananea arrived in the city yesterday
and will spend a few days here on
mining business. He is interested
with the San Bernardino Mining Com
pany. He stated that development
work en these properties was prog
ressing rapidly, and that ore was be
ing shipped daily from the mine. This
ore. he says, 13 or a good quality
and the outlook for this mine is very
encouraging. He said- activity in
mining circles around Cananea was
good and more prospecting work was
being done this jear than at anv pre

Hunter Funeral The funeral of
Charles Hunter, who died at the Cop
per Queen hospital after an operation

pected the body would be sent to
Cameron, Mo., his old home, bat on

Cutting Main Street The Interna
tional Gas Company has begun cut
ting Main street for the purpose of
fixing leaks la the gas pipes. It i3
stated these pipes are broken in sev

ment being cut in as many places.
