ORDINANCE NO 183.
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
USE OF THE STREETS OF THE
CITY OF BISBEE BY VEHICLES
AND ANIMALS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of
Blsbee n follows:
Section 1. In no event shall any
vehicle be operated or driven on any
thoroughfare of this city at a speed
in excess of liftcen mller per hour.
Section 2. No vehicle shall be op
erated on any such thoroughfare at
a speed in excess of six miles per
hour within one hundred feet on ap
proach of any corner, turn, intersec
tion or crossing.
Section 3. AH animals, and ve
hicles movies on such thoroughfares
shall be kopt and driven tothe right
of the road In tho direction of prog
refer., except during such time only as
it would bo immediately dangerous
to life, limb or property so to do
Section 4. No person shall operate
any vehicle, or lido or drive any an
imal, on any of such thoroughfares,
at a speed greater than 's reasonable
and proper, having regard to the
traffic and use of the highway, or so
as to endanger the life or limb of
an person, or tho safety of any
property. ,
Section 3. Each section hereof
shall be construed as Independent en
actments. Section G. Tho provisions of Sec
tion 1 of Ordinance No. 27 of tblb
City, so far as it refers to vehicles,
and Ordinance No. 173, being' an Or
dinance entitled 'An Ordinance Reg
ulating the Use of the Streets of Bls
bee by Automobiles, Motorcycles, and
Vehicles of Like Character and Or
dinance No. 159 being nn ordjnt-nce
entitled "An Ordinance Limiting the
Speed at Which Automobiles and
Like Vehicles May bo Driven and
Prohibiting Immoderate Driving there
of" are hereby repealed.
Section 7. Any person who shall
violate any of the provisions of Sec
tions 1, 2, 3 or 4 hereof shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall bo punished by
a lino not to exceed the sum of $100
or by imprisonment for not to ex
ceed thirty days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment.
Section 8. This ordinance shall
take effect and bo in force from and
after its passage and due publics
tlon as by law provided.

mon Council of Blsbee. Arizona, this
7th day of January. 1913.

Tho names of the corporators are
Peter Johnson, whose residence and

ARTICLE II.
The name of said corporation Is and
shall be "THE JOHNSON MEAT
COMPANY," and its principal place
of business at Blsbee. in Cochise
County, Stato of Arizona, and such
other branch offices o? places of bus
iness, as tho Board of Directors may
from time to time deem necessary to
establish.
ARTICLE III.
Tho general nature of the business
proposed to be transacted by said
corporation, is to engage both at
wholesale and retail In tho butcher
business, and of buying, selling and
dealing in meats food products, and
kindred articles, slaughtering cattle,
hogs, sheep, goats, and all animals
suitable for food, and raising the

the- business of packing, curing, lire
serving and storage of meats and food
products. To carry on and maintain
refrigerating and cold storago plants,
and to engage in the business of buy
ing, selling and dealing In groceries,
hardware, Implemonts, feed, hay,

stores and shops for the purposes
aforesaid.
To own, buy, sell and deal in real
estate, and to lease, mortgages and hi
potbecate the same. To own, buy, sell
and deal in mortgage, pledge or hy
pothecate personal property of every
kind, and to own, buy, deal in notes,
bonds, mortgages and securities. To
loan and borrow money.
ARTICLE IV.
The capital stock of this corpora.
tion Is Five Thousand Dollars
($5000.00), consisting of fifty (50)
shares of the par value of One Hun
dred Dollars ($100.00) each. And
the time when, and the conditions 011
which it is to be laid in are as fol
lows; forty-five shares thereof havo
been subscribed for by said corpora
tors. In equal portions, the same to be
issued as soon as this corporation is
perfected, and is fully paid for by
the transfer to said corporation o

be conducted by a Board of Directors,

dent and Arthur W. McCain. Secretary
