white miners and immediately left for
Harshaw where Clark has takn over
the Parrel property known as the
Trench fftoup of copper mines It is
understood that the Tiench mines were
bonded by Senator Clark when in Butto

Bonds
Sealed proposals will bi received by
the Uoaid or Supervisors of the County
of Mohave Stale of Ar iona at their
olliee in Kingman until Monoav the
25th day of November 1912 at the
hour of 10 oclock A M of said day
for the purchase of Eighty Thousand
Dollars 8J00000 of Mohave County
bonds which issue of bunds was duly
authorized by the qmlilied electors
and property taxpayer- of said county
at a soecial election held in said
county on the 28th da of September
1912 under the provisions of Chapter
29 of the laws of the First Legislature
of the State of Arizona
Said bonds are to be of the denomi
nation of One Thousand Dollars
100000 each and to bear interest at
the rate of live per cent per annum
payable semi annually and to run for
a period of forty jears from date with
the reservation by said county of the
privilege of redemption of any or all
of said bonds after twenty years i
No bid for less than par and accrued
interest will be considered
A certified check for not less than
live per cent of the total amount bid
must accompany each proposal
The Board of Supervisors reserve
the right to reject any and all bius
made
Sealed bids to be addressed to the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors

collection of the taxes levJed Taxes

Court House of Mohave County in the
town of Kingman Ariona
Taxes will become delinquent on the
third Monday of December next
On all delinquent taxes in addition
to the amount of the taxes there will
be collected four per cent on the
amount of the taxes as Collectors
costs fifteen cents for each tract of
land or town lot as Clerks costs and
interest at the rate of one percent per
month

The Greene Cananea Copper Co
At the smelter the new Great Falls
type converters are giving excellent
satisfaction and four more of the same
type are now on the from the
hops at Milwaukee The Cinoie
-haft which is to be used as the main
shaft for that propeity and which -vas
begun about four or live weeks ago is
now down to the 300 foot level and
will be sunk to the 1000 foot level be
fore sinking is stopped It is to bo
connected on every level with the old
shaft which is a short distance away
and the big new ore body will be work
ed from the new shaft The Capote
ore body is the largest sulphide de
posit in the district running as it
does from the Ji00 to the 800 foot
level and to a depth unknown at pres
ent Drifting on t lie 9J0 fool level is
now under way to ascertain the extent
of the tody on that level The whole
depi sit is sulphide ore except close to
the surface where there is some car
bonates aud it as a whole will average
between 4 and 5 vper cent copper al
though it runs as high as i and 5 1 2
per cent E timation is that there are
about 1000000 tons of the ore already
blocked out and piled on a dump
Shaft No 12 located in Democrata
gulch has been connected with drifts
from the Veta mine on the third
leve A new electric hoist was recent
ly installed at this shaft A big new
electric hoist was installed during the
week at the Dululh shaft It is the
largest electric hoist in the district
