To Be Minus Lingerie
Thev Lingerie Department chief returned from New York yesterday and re
ports that owing to the "strike" no orders for garments can be accepted for
delivery earlier than March.
What's to be done?
It was hastily decided last night to reduce prices of lots that are "brok
en" in sizes, thus assuring business for the present in spite of disadvantages.
