HOTE CLERK GUITLY OF LARCENY, JURY HOLDS Sidney Jordan Chanock, former clerk at the Dewey Hotel, has been found guilty of grand larceny by a Jury In Justice Stafford's court. The testimony showed that he took J1S.000 worth of bonds and cash April 29 last, deposited for safe keep ing by Edwin C Arnold, a wealthy patron of the hotel from Pleasantville N T. It was shown that Mr. Arnold gave Into the keeping.of the house J 1.500 In cash: ten $1,000 Liberty bonds, one 5500 Liberty bond, seven $100 Liberty bonds and six bonds of the Interborough Transit Company, worth J1.000 each.
