THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ARE TO MEET ON THURSDAY AND INSPECT TUB NEW ROUTE, WHICH PROVIDES FOR A "LOOP" ON THE COUNTY DIVISION - THE REDISTRICTINC! ORDINANCE GOES THROUGH WITHOUT OPPOSITION - ROUTINE BUSINESS TRANSACTED. ?????? v The Ohio county board of commissionera met in regular monthly session yesterday. Mr. Hare's ordinance for redisricting the county went through without opposition, The Wheeling & Elm Grove Hallway Company presented a new ordinance, making Important changes in the right of way, and the commissioners will go over the proposed route in a body next Thursday afternoon. The new ordinance, if adopted, will give the company the right to construct a "loop" from this city to Elm Grave. The tracks, after crossing the Fulton bridge, will follow the line of Center Street, Instead of the national road. They will leave Center street and go through the Thompson property along the line followed by the old horse car road, to a point about midway between the Thompson homestead and Stackyard hollow. Here the tracks will cross the national road to the present line, and there will be a double track to Selbert's. The present track near Thompson's will be moved closer lo the hill, and no greater portion of the national road will be used than Is now occupied. From Selbert's to the Park, there will be a double track along the middle of the road, and the company agrees to pave sixteen feet of the road with lire brick. The new ordinance was read a first time, and further consideration was postponed until the 14th Inst., when a special meeting will be held for that purpose.
