The society has deposited In the bank, $369.71 To-day there will be sent eighteen bottles of cordial and eighty-eight bandages to the distributing headquarters. -* 2 THE ZOAR COMMUNITY < May be^fontlnued by the Organization of a New Society. ^ ^Reliable advices from Zoar tell of a S plan which launder way there to continue ^ communism. Ever since the dissolution was ratified by the majority In favor of C it. there has been considerable opposi tlon on the part of a certain faction, I and these now declare that as soon as the division of lands Is completed they will form a new society and continue as , Separatists. Those who are In favor of I forming a new society number about fifty members, which Is not quite half tf of the total number in the old eociety. The lump value of the shares of all these will aggregate over $600,000. and \ with this amount it is claimed that a 1 self-supporting communistic society can c be organized. The purpose of the new a society will not be to accumulate wealth but merely to support the members. An effort will be made to have the commissioners so allot the shares of those who wish to continue the society, that their land may be In one vast section, and as near as possible to the town of Zcar. This will obviate the necessity of building new houses, and will enable them to cultivate the land more readily. It IS" believed that these concessions will be granted by the commts sloners,' as there seems to oe no mennation on the part of those who urged the dissolution to Interfere with tho formation of a new society. Those who do not wish to continue us communists. or a number of them at least, will turn A their land Into money at the earliest op- | portunlty. A grave financial problem confronts those who propose to start the new colony. They will be wealthy In the matter of land, but will have no money. Con slderable cash will be required before * the new society becomes self-sopportInjr. but t>o difficulty In socuring a loan is anticipated, as the credit of tho new organization will be good.
