Latimer, who has had charge of a flourishing school at Ebenezer in Flor ence County during the past term, when it ended came home and has since been with the family of his step-father Dr. T. 0. Klrkpatriek. Miss Ada Brockington, of Kingstree, has , been for some days at the , same pleasant ( home mentioned above. Mrs. Will Tennent and her two children, of Atlanta, has spent several days at the home of her mother, Mrs. B. C. Kay. Mrs. T. B. Holcombe and her twochil- | dren, of Lamar, have been at the same pleasant home mentioned above. Both of the lady visitors mentioned in the two preceding paragraphs are natives of this place and since their marriage were called to new homes, and we are glad to welcome them and their descendants. Miss Lena Galloway, of Due West, has spent several days, at he home of her , kinsman Dr. T. 0. Kirkpatrick. Miss Ella Nickles, of Greenwood, is with the family of her uncle, Mr. E. W. I Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baskin, who a few years ago moved from near here, are now j back on a visit to their loved ones. Mrs. T. D. Miss Birdie Bell, who had silent two months with Relatives at Elberlon, Ga., came home this week. Mr. J. B. Franks, of Philadelphia, came in Tuesday and will stay a few days longer with his mother-in-law, Mrs. T. Baker and family. Maj. and Mrs. F. W. B.
