ADAM'S BIG BOLL
Two years ago I purchased some
improved cotton seed from a Geor
gia farmer who had bred it up, pay
ing ll. 18 cents per pound for the
seed. It is large, deeprooted, re
sisting drought storm and rust.
Have made ?U4 pounds per acre of
lint on thin land by using only 200
pounds of standard guano. On same
grade of land ?with my next best
variety only made 300 pounds of
lint. Seed cotton from 32 well de
veloped bolls weighs a pound. Will
stand drought three weeks longer
than other varieties.
I have a limited quantity of seed
that 1 will sell for ?5.00 per bushel.
Send in vour orders at once.

Sold Hogs by Telephone
A South Carolina farmer had a large number
of hogs which were icddy to kill. The weather
was so warm that killing was out of the question.
He went to his telephone, called a dealer in
Columbia over Long Distance and sold his hogs
at a good price. He then called the local freight
office and arranged for shipment.
The telephone is now a necessity on the farm.
You can have one on your farm at small cost.
