Your annual statement for the year ending December 31, 1914, ie received. You
are to be congratulated upon the prompt making of your annual report five days after
the end of the year, and particularly are you to be congratulated upon the showing you
make. To increase your assets in one year, especially such a year as we have had, from
$476,074 to $596,982, a net increase of 20 per cent, is an excellent showing.
More particularly are you to ba congratulated upon the faot that during the year
you retired your guarantee fund of $18,150, and yet show a surplus to policyholders of
8102,455, $100,000 of this being capital stock and $2,455 being unassigned funds and

the leading financial institutions of the State, and I wish you continued and abounding
(Signed) F. H. M?MASTER,
We call your especial attention to the above statement, and letter from Hon. P. H.
McMaster, Insurance Commissioner. You will readily see that the Southeastern Life
Insurance Company is making a record that absolutely warrants the consideration and
praise of all public spirited and loyal South Carolinians.
It is startling to note that during the past year, between five and six millions of
good South Carolina dollars left this State in payment of Life Insurance premiums.
Can you imagine what a drain this is on the resources of this State? YOU can help us
stop this tremendous outflow of cash by buying your next policy in our good Company.
OUR RATES ARE LOWER and we KEEP EVERY CENT OF YOUR MONEY
RIGHT HERE AT HOME.
Before you buy your next insurance policy, kindly give us an interview.
