With the approaching close of the present year, our
usual stock taking season and a year which has proven to
be a very unusual one in many -respects to most- of us in all
lines of business and on account of the present strenuous
period, brought about the depression in almost all markets,
and, too, being desirous to do our part to meet this situa
tion, we have decided to offer, beginning Saturday, Decem
ber 18th, and continuing through Saturday, January 8th,
1921, our entire stock of merchandise at actual cost, except
hardware, on which we will give a discount of twenty per
cent on all purchases to the extent of $5.00 or over. This
exception on hardware is due to the fact that there has
been no reduction in the prices of hardware during the
present year, in fact, some of the Wholesale houses had to
advance prices on some items recently.
_With the twenty per cent reduction which we are offer
ing on hardware during this sale you will do well to supply
your wants for the coming year as there is no prospect now
of it getting cheaper soon. With the discount we are offer
ing on this line you will be able to buy a great many items
less than wholesale cost to us today. Everything outside of
hardware is offered at ACTUAL COST.
