Fever and Ague,
from which mankind suffer over a largo part of
the globe, is the consequence of a diseased action
in the system, induced by the poisonous miostn of
vegetable decay. This exhalation is evolved by
the action of sota licM on wet soil, and ri-i-s with
the watery vnpor from it. While the sin. is below

Stomach and How els, all of which, when arising
from this cause, will be found to assume more or
