the State, belonging to the estate of John
Harrison, Sr.. decease&
These land. are composed of. the follow
ii several tracth or plantations, viz :
1. The tract known as the "lIver Place,"
coptaining about 3.338 acres.,nmore or less,
lying immediately on the banks of the R a
teree River.' This plantation contains
about 1200 acres in original forest.; and
several hundred acres of rich river bottoms
now in a high etateof cultivation; and has
upon it all necessary huildings, &o. It is
decidedly one of the best cotton and grain
plantations in the Southern country.
2. The tract known as the "Dutchman's
Creek Place." containing 2,482 acres, more
or less. This tract is also a No. 1, cotton
and grain' planiatioo, with a large creek
running through it, and has upon it all ne
cessary buildings for laborers, stook,.&o
8. The tract known as the "Bryant
Place," containing 645 acres more or less.
On this place is a very comfortable dwelling
house, with a number of out-houses, &o.
4. The tract known as tho "Sandhill or
Ilome Place," containing 808 acres, more or
e-s. Most of ti place is in orignial
wo,. 1', and is a haigh and healthy place,' and
is the homestead of the late John Harrison,
5. T'he tract known as the "Concord
Church ['lace," containinag 150 a0res, mnore
or less. Nearly t he whole of this tract is
covered withi a thick growth of tihe 'very
largest and finest, long leaf pines, particu.
lirly suited to Railroad purposes, shingles,
or anythinsg which is made front pine tim
bor ; an'. it iles wit lhin twro miles of the
Ridgoway Depot on the Charlotte and
Pouth Carolina Railroad, with a good,
lev.el wagon rend leading thereto.
0. The tract known as the "Salt Pond
Rdeetrack," containing 100 acres..
The terma of Sale are as follow.s:fThe

quired to pay the aum of six hundred dol
lars, and one-sixth of the amout for which
it sells, andl its proportionate share of the
costs and expenses of the suit and sale IN
CASK ; and for the balanpe a credit will be
givtn until the 1ast of January 1868, wIith
Interest thereon from the 1st, of January
1807, at which time possession will be given,
sctured by bend with at least two approved
